The Encore Travel Alliance journey began in 1996 with A Night on The Town Tours. Host and founder, George Harter, gathered listeners of his nationally syndicated radio show A Night on The Town to join him in New York.

George and Carly have over forty years of combined experience in planning and guiding art & music centric tours. George is the founder of Musical Theater Hertiage, the original non-profit company behind, A Night on The Town Radio Show and A Night on The Town Tours. Carly joined her father’s non-profit in 2001 as Administrator, then Tour Manager and then Managing Director. In 2020, Musical Theater Heritage transitioned to Music Theater Heritage –no longer offering tours– they focus on productions of Broadway Musicals. Together, Carly and George founded Encore Travel Alliance to continue offering art & music centric tours, creating enriching experiences, and providing funding opportunities for local artists.
